Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Male PE Teacher looking for your next teaching opportunity in the Great Barr area of Birmingham?
First for Education are working with supportive secondary schools to recruit a skilled PE specialist who can inspire young people to develop their physical skills, teamwork, and confidence. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
As a PE Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, including both practical and theory-based sessions
Promote health, fitness, and teamwork through sport and physical activity
Support extracurricular clubs, teams, and school sporting events
Manage behaviour effectively to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Track and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS via PGCE
A specialism in Physical Education (with a focus on boys’ PE provision)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A passion for promoting physical activity and inspiring young people
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
