Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for your next role in the Stechford area of Birmingham?
First for Education are working with supportive secondary schools to recruit a skilled and enthusiastic teacher of English Language and Literature. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to help students develop their communication, analytical and creative skills.
As an English Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Plan, prepare, and assess learning to support student progress
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Manage behaviour in line with school policies
Contribute to wider school life and the English department
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS via PGCE
Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
Effective classroom management and communication skills
A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young people
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
