Science Teacher 

Are you an experienced Science Teacher looking for a short-term teaching opportunity in Wolverhampton? First for Education is working with a well-established secondary school to find a motivated and skilled Science Teacher for a 1-term position, covering Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to make an immediate impact in the classroom and gain valuable experience within a supportive school environment.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a QTS/QTLS or PGCE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) to students in KS3 or KS4

  • Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Support students’ academic development and provide regular feedback

  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with the department and school staff to ensure high standards

 

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 level

  • Be passionate about delivering engaging lessons that inspire students in the sciences

  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to various learning styles

  • Be available to start immediately
