Science Teacher 

Are you a passionate and inspiring Science teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in the heart of Dudley? First For Education is working with a well-regarded school in Dudley to find a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their dynamic faculty.

In this role, you’ll have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of students by delivering engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Whether you’re a newly qualified teacher or an experienced professional, you’ll be supported by a collaborative team and a leadership structure that values innovative teaching methods.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a QTS/QTLS or PGCE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) to students in KS3 or KS4

  • Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Support students’ academic development and provide regular feedback

  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with the department and school staff to ensure high standards

 

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent) with a degree in Science or a related field.

  • A passion for teaching Science, with the ability to inspire and engage students across all Key Stages.

  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum and commitment to delivering high-quality education.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

  • A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching, with a focus on student-centred learning.

  • Previous experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting (preferred, but not essential).
