Science Teacher – Sandwell

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a thriving secondary school in the Sandwell area, looking to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher. Whether you specialise in Biology, Chemistry or Physics – we want to hear from you. This is for an interim position.

This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs to join a supportive school environment with excellent facilities and a clear focus on pupil progress.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a QTS/QTLS or PGCE.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils

• Teach general science across all three disciplines, with specialism considered an advantage

• Plan, mark and assess in line with curriculum expectations

• Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school enrichment

• Support students in developing practical skills, scientific thinking, and curiosity

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification

• Specialism in a Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)

• Passion for Science and strong subject knowledge

• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities

• Excellent behaviour management and classroom presence

• A proactive, adaptable and committed approach to teaching
