First for Education is currently recruiting for skilled Business Studies Teachers to work in high-quality secondary schools across the West Midlands. We’re looking for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers with a strong understanding of business principles and a passion for helping students apply learning to real-world contexts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach engaging Business Studies lessons to students at KS4 and KS5
  • Develop learners’ understanding of marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, and economics
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports academic and personal growth
  • Prepare and assess coursework and exams in line with curriculum standards
  • Work collaboratively within the department to plan schemes of work and track progress

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialism or strong teaching experience in Business Studies
  • Confidence teaching across KS4 and ideally KS5
  • Strong classroom management and a reflective teaching style
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Two recent, relevant references
