Salary: £150 – £250 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

Are you a passionate and dynamic Drama or Performing Arts Teacher looking to inspire students through the power of performance and expression?
Would you like to work in creative and supportive schools that value the role of the arts in education?

First for Education is seeking engaging and skilled Drama/Performing Arts Teachers for long-term, full-time roles across the West Midlands. Whether you specialise in drama, theatre studies, or broader performing arts, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver vibrant and inclusive Drama or Performing Arts lessons to KS3 and KS4 students (KS5 where applicable)
  • Encourage creativity, collaboration, and confidence in your classroom
  • Support students in school productions, performances, and enrichment opportunities
  • Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Be an active and creative member of the performing arts department

What You’ll Need:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Drama or Performing Arts at secondary level
  • A creative and student-centred approach to classroom delivery
  • Strong behaviour management and a commitment to inclusion
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Two professional references
