First for Education is recruiting qualified and engaging Geography Teachers to join secondary schools across the West Midlands. We’re supporting a number of well-regarded schools in finding enthusiastic educators ready to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 – with KS5 available in some placements.

Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT with a strong subject background, we’d love to support your next step.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-structured and engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Inspire curiosity about the world, environment, and human interactions
  • Plan, assess and differentiate to meet the needs of all learners
  • Support school values and contribute positively to the wider school community
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly

What You’ll Need:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialism in Geography or a closely related subject
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A creative and adaptable approach to teaching
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Two professional references
