Secondary History Teacher – West Midlands

Location: West Midlands (including Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Walsall, Sandwell, and surrounding areas)
Salary: £150 – £250 per day (dependent on experience and role)
Contract Type: Full-Time / Long-Term / Temp-to-Perm
Start Date: September 2025 (immediate starts available for suitable candidates)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and informative History lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 may be available)

  • Create a classroom atmosphere that encourages historical curiosity and critical thinking

  • Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and departmental goals

  • Support students of all abilities through inclusive, well-differentiated teaching

  • Contribute to the wider school community through collaboration and enrichment activities

Who We’re Looking For:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Specialism or strong experience in History or Humanities

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A commitment to inclusive and engaging teaching

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Two relevant professional references
