First for Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Maths Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Sutton Coldfield. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic teacher with a proven ability to deliver engaging lessons that motivate students and encourage a love for mathematics.
Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an early career teacher, we want to hear from you if you can create a positive learning environment and help students achieve their best.
Planning and delivering creative, engaging, and challenging maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress to support achievement
Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Collaborating with colleagues to develop resources and teaching strategies
Inspiring students to reach their full potential in mathematics
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in mathematics
A passion for teaching and learning
Excellent classroom management skills
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Two relevant references from the last two years
