First for Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Maths Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Sutton Coldfield. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic teacher with a proven ability to deliver engaging lessons that motivate students and encourage a love for mathematics.

Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an early career teacher, we want to hear from you if you can create a positive learning environment and help students achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering creative, engaging, and challenging maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress to support achievement

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies

• Collaborating with colleagues to develop resources and teaching strategies

• Inspiring students to reach their full potential in mathematics

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

• Strong subject knowledge in mathematics

• A passion for teaching and learning

• Excellent classroom management skills

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Two relevant references from the last two years
