First for Education is recruiting a passionate and skilled Secondary Science Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Edgbaston. We are looking for a teacher who can bring physics, chemistry, and biology to life in the classroom, inspiring students to explore, experiment, and excel in science.

Plan and deliver engaging science lessons across KS3 and KS4
Create a positive learning environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop resources
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in science (biology, chemistry, and physics)
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A passion for teaching and inspiring young people
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Two professional references covering the last two years
