SEMH Teacher

Location: Birmingham

Are you a teacher passionate about making a real difference for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs?
Join us in partnering with a school in North Birmingham and help us create a safe, supportive space where every child can flourish.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to SEMH pupils
  • Developing personalised learning and behaviour support plans
  • Working closely with SENCOs, therapists, other teachers, families, and support staff
  • Monitoring progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
  • Creating a calm, positive classroom environment

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience in SEMH or related special educational needs
  • Strong behaviour management skills and emotional resilience
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
  • A commitment to nurturing pupils’ well-being alongside academic success
