Inspiring young minds and supporting early learning – become a SEN Teaching Assistant in Birmingham!

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support teachers in delivering high-quality education to pupils. Working on a one-to-one and small group basis in KS1 & 2 we want a candidate with a strong passion for supporting young learners and contributing to their success, we would love to hear from you!

What we’re after :

  • Excellent planning & communication
  • Level 2 or above in Education or Childcare
  • Professional//personal experience with SEND children
  • Passion for education
  • Enhanced DBS required
  • References to cover the last 2 years (minimum of 2)

The right candidates will need to demonstrate a clear passion for teaching. You will need to have good punctuality and good personal organisational skills.

Key responsibilities :

  • Creating a safe and stimulating environment while providing targeted support
  • Encouraging social, emotional, and cognitive growth
  • Assist with classroom activities
  • Assisting with behaviour management and supervising children during activities
