 SEND Teacher – Birmingham

Location: Birmingham
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £100 – £225 per day (dependent on experience)

We’re working closely with a nurturing and inclusive SEND school in Birmingham who are looking for a dedicated SEND Teacher to join their team from September. Whether you’re experienced or an enthusiastic ECT with a passion for SEND, this school will provide a welcoming and collaborative environment to grow your career.

About the Role:

  • Delivering tailored lessons to pupils with a range of complex needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD
  • Planning engaging and accessible activities that promote confidence and independence
  • Working closely with a strong team of support staff, therapists, and other teachers
  • Monitoring progress and adapting teaching approaches accordingly
  • Encouraging communication, interaction and emotional development

 

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
  • Experience working within an SEND setting (either in mainstream or specialist provisions)
  • A compassionate, calm and adaptive approach
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Able to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff
