Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

We are looking for experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join a variety of SEND schools and specialist provisions across the Birmingham area.

No formal qualifications are required – your experience, commitment and understanding are what matter most.

About the roles:
You will support students with a range of needs, including but not limited to:

  • ASD / Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)
  • Hearing Impairment (HI)
  • Visual Impairment (VI)
  • Physical Disabilities (PD)

Your role may involve:

  • Providing 1:1 or small group support inside and outside the classroom
  • Helping pupils access learning and develop independence
  • Supporting personal care and mobility needs where required
  • Working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored support

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND (in a school, care, or community setting)
  • A patient, caring and adaptable approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Remember – you do not need any specific qualifications for these roles, but experience is essential.

Benefits:

  • Flexible work to fit around you – day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities available
  • Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
  • The chance to make a real impact every day

If you’re ready to use your experience to help children thrive, we’d love to hear from you.
