First for Education are looking to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in our partner secondary schools in Acocks Green.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education and supporting young people to achieve their potential. Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to gain classroom experience before starting teacher training, we want to hear from you.
Support pupils in their learning across a range of subjects
Provide 1:1 and small group support where required
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
Support pupils with additional needs to ensure inclusivity
Previous experience working with children or young people (essential)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Two professional references covering the last two years
