We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school community. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting pupils through a key stage of their learning, delivering engaging lessons that promote progress across the curriculum. You will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing a broad and balanced curriculum, while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

What we’re after :

• Excellent planning & communication
• Relevant qualification (QTS/PGCE)
• Passion for education
• Enhanced DBS required
• References to cover the last 2 years (minimum of 2)

The right candidates will need to demonstrate a clear passion for teaching. You will need to have good punctuality and good personal organisational skills.

• Creating a safe and stimulating environment
• Encouraging social, emotional, and cognitive growth
• Liaising with parents and carers
• Mentoring and assessing the children’s progress
