First for Education are seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant in Selly Oak. This position will include 1-1 support with students. If you are looking for a flexible work life balance but still want to impact the education of children, this could be for you!

What we are looking for in a potential candidate:

• Someone who holds the relevant teaching assistant qualifications. (At least Level 2)
• Someone who can assist in delivering engaging and effective lessons across various subjects and age groups.
• Someone who enjoys building strong relationships with students and teachers.
• Someone with a sound knowledge of the primary sector.
• Someone who can help in maintaining good classroom behaviour.
• Someone with an Enhanced DBS on the update service ideal (if not you will need to have a new check completed).
• Someone who can provide 2x references to cover the prior 2 years.
• Someone who is eligible to work in the UK.

All new staff are interviewed by a First for Education consultant prior to starting.
