The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher

• Supervise pupils across a range of subjects and year groups

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment

• Encourage students to stay engaged and focused on their learning

• Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and classroom conduct

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with young people (school, tutoring, youth work, or coaching desirable)

• Confidence in managing classrooms and supporting learning

• Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills

• A flexible, proactive, and professional approach

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
