Salary: £150 – £280 per day (dependent on experience)

First for Education are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Jewellery Quarter and are seeking a dedicated and motivated Maths Teacher to join their team from January 2026.
This is a long-term opportunity within a supportive Maths department, ideal for a teacher who can deliver engaging, structured lessons and maintain high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
Assessing, marking and tracking pupil progress
Maintaining confident and consistent behaviour management
Supporting pupils of varying abilities to achieve their potential
Contributing to departmental planning and wider school life
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Recent experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school
Strong subject knowledge and classroom presence
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
